A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
One evening, I tossed out the idea of getting my FFL to my buddy and we started talking about business names. As we were going back and forth with random patriotic, and often funny names, he shouted "GY6!" My silence must have confirmed the confused look on my face... what does that even mean?
He replied: GOT YOUR SIX!
It was perfect. Our small group of friends are tight, and we'll drop whatever we're doing to help each other out, we've always got each other's backs. And from that conversation, GY6 Arms was born.

What began as an idea to simply assist with firearm transfers for the local community in response to new state gun registration took an unexpected turn. The more I shared about it, the more GY6 Arms evolved. People began asking for advice on a ton of topics, because I clearly must be an expert if I'm starting this business! In reality I'm just a knuckle dragger that knows some stuff, but also knows how to use google.
Conversations started on various firearms and accessories, or things like tips on how to mount a scope, or how to fix their shot placement, and even around different gun policies and current events.
Women started approaching my wife, asking how she chose her preferred firearms and confided in her with their nervous questions. The focus shifted from merely facilitating transfer to genuinely helping people.
What started as a simple idea for gun transfers has grown into an online gun shop offering quality firearms that we believe in and NFA items, including short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), and suppressors. Our services extend beyond sales, encompassing:
