Purchasing Firearms Online
It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up locally, by appointment only, or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason.
General Sales
All firearms, magazines, receivers, and other restricted items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines, and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ, and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories, and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special-order items.
Used & Surplus Firearms
Consignment, used & surplus firearms may not be returned. All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) are provided by the seller.
Ammunition Sales
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.
Secure Transmission
All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between a Web site and a visitor’s Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Web site and the browser remains private and secure.
Order Fulfillment
All orders are shipped promptly from our location (in-store items) or from a distributor warehouse. Items shipped from a distributor will take on average 3 – 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
Online Price & Description Errors
Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item’s description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. If we cancel an order, we will not charge the customer’s credit card or we will refund the money.
Shipping Policy
Part shipments with different billing / shipping addresses will require additional verification prior to shipment. Government issued ID and other documentation showing the alternate address should be emailed to

with your order number in the subject line.
Standard shipping is provided to the lower 48 states. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may require additional shipping charges. Please check with us prior to placing an order if you’d like to know the exact cost of shipping.
All ammunition will be shipped via ground services with an adult signature required.
Firearms can only be shipped to an active FFL dealer.
Insurance
Insurance is optional but must be requested and paid for by the purchaser. If a package is lost because of a mistake we made, we will replace the lost item or provide a full refund. If the lost package is the result of the courier’s mistake, and insurance was purchased, we will work with you to file an insurance claim with the courier for the insured value of the item.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages if insurance was not purchased.
Return Policy
All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with the original tags and labels attached. Special orders and products sold as “used” or “as-is” are not eligible for return.
Firearms
Returns of firearms are not accepted, and all sales are final once transferred to you, or 3 days after delivery to your local FFL dealer, whichever occurs first. This policy applies to all sales regardless of the reason for return. It is your responsibility to inspect them carefully prior to acquisition.
Once your order has been received by your local FFL dealer, it may be returned at your expense plus a 25% restocking fee, prior to transfer, within 3 days of the delivery date.
Parts
You must inspect parts upon delivery and notify us of any problems within 3 days of delivery. Parts returned within 3 days of delivery are subject to a 15% restocking fee. New, unopened, parts are subject to a 5% restocking fee. All sales are final 3 days after delivery date.
Ammunition
Returns are not accepted for ammunition. All sales are final regardless of the reason for return.
2nd Amendment Unfriendly States
You are responsible for ensuring your local FFL dealer will accept and transfer firearms and/or NFA items to you.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order prior to us shipping it. If the order has already been moved to processing, there will be a 20% restocking fee.
Refunds
Refunds are issued within 7-10 business days after the order has been received, and new condition is verified, less restocking fees.
Credit Card Chargebacks
If a customer issues a chargeback (tries to cancel the transaction with the credit card company or bank) for any reason, including failure to pass a background check, this is considered fraud. GY6 Arms will file a police report and all evidence, including a copy of our store policies, will be provided to both police and credit card investigators.
